Street Fighter: The Later Years
November 27th, 2007I loved the Street Fighter arcade game as a kid.
College Humor have come up with a set of gem videos. Not really office friendly but you’ve got to love it!
A space where I can discuss and contribute to technology, software and the web. I'm a developer and consultant from the Gold Coast, Australia. It just feels like the right thing to do. More.

I hope this Home Shopping Network presenter is okay. He’s managed to snap and somehow stab himself with one of those dodgy samurai swords they sell on teevee. Ouch! There’s no gore so enjoy at home or on your lunchbreak :-)
Great ad-lib by the co-presenter too. Champagne television.
I just watched DiG and quite liked the following one-liner from Courtney Taylor-Taylor.
If it’s good, its fun. If it’s bad, it’s funny.
Simple really.
Amusing OK/Cancel Cartoon.
That’s right folks, an Infringment Notice served against me for crossing the street.
If you’ve ever been in Brisbane and wondered about how against-the-law it is to cross the street when the red man is lit up… well wonder no more. It costs you $30 and a 5-10 minute chat with one of Queensland’s finest public servants.
I chose not to point out that it was raining quite heavily and there was no shelter on the sidewalk. I’m sure the officer could see that. And I decided against outlining why I consider myself capable of picking an appropriate moment to cross a road. Clearly the State’s lawmakers don’t feel that the people of Queensland can be trusted to make these kinds decisions. So I thanked the Officer for his time and walked away to continue dealing with the important things in life.
Then to Austin for SXSW where I’m on some kind of panel entitled Sink or Swim: The Five Most Important Startup Decisions. Here’s a good startup decision: work on your products instead of hanging out at “interactive festivals” in Texas.
Indeed.
This has to be one of the best blonde jokes I’ve ever heard.
Here’s Paul modelling the Spinner Hat. I’m not sure what he did to deserve it but I that the moment should be captured and placed on the web for posterity.
No doubt he’ll have photographic evidence on his blog when I get my chance to model the colourful headwear.
